I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to share the details for the upcoming Blackert Competition in Newcastle, which is specifically for Level 3-4 gymnasts.

Competition Attire
- Short Sleeve Competition Leotard
- EGA Tracksuit
- White socks with sneakers or Slides on arrival
- Hair gelled and slicked in a high bun with Gold Scrunchie
Please note that the schedule will be broadcasted on Teamapp once we receive it from the competition organisers. We appreciate your patience as we work on finalising all the details. Please register in any of the above dates, your allocated date/schedule will be sent on Teamapp.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
Divisions: Gymnasts in each Level will be grouped in sessions according to age, dependent
on number of entries. Age divisions generally contain 15-25 gymnasts. Presentations will
take place at the end of each session. Please double check the Competitions List your DOB is correct.
Awards:
Overall – Trophy (Placement 1-10th, 11th + Participation) all gymnasts receive an award
Apparatus – Medals 1st – 3rd, Ribbons 4th – 10th
Physical Preparation ribbon or medal
For those who have not previously attended, the BGA competitions are unique in the fact that
they incorporate a Physical Preparation component, where the girls are tested on their
strength and flexibility. Everybody receives an award (Ribbon or Medal) dependent on the
number of points they earn.
