I hope this message finds you well. I am excited to share the details for the upcoming Blackert competition in Newcastle, which is specifically for Level 5-8 gymnasts.

After several years, it’s fantastic to be back in Newcastle for this event!

ADDED INFORMATION
Divisions:
Gymnasts in each Level will be grouped in sessions according to age, dependent on number of entries. Age divisions generally contain 15-25 gymnasts. Presentations will take place at the end of each session.

Awards: Overall – Trophy (Placement 1-10th, 11th+ Participation) all gymnasts receive an award
Apparatus – Medals 1st – 3rd, Ribbons 4th – 10th
Physical Preparation ribbon or medal

For those who have not previously attended in the past the competitions are unique in the fact that they incorporate a Physical Preparation component where the girls are tested on their strength and flexibility. Everybody receives an award (Ribbon or Medal) dependent on the number of points they earn. Our coaches will work through the Physical Prep list during training. You can also find a copy attached if you are interested.
