EGA is excited to be hosting “Feeling Alright”, a specially designed workshop aimed for all gymnasts!

The workshop welcomes three guest speakers who will provide insights and expertise as they delve into the mental, physical, and nutritional aspects of competitive gymnastics!

Our guest speakers are:

Monique Tanner
Physiotherapist, ">www.movement101.com.au**
As an ex-national level gymnast, Monique knows how frustrating injuries can be, as they can stop you doing what you love. She believes patient empowerment is paramount and strives to educate her patients to better understand their bodies and promote injury prevention.

Alessandra Saha
Sports Psychologist

Alessandra has 10+ years experience working with elite athletes and programs at universities across Australia and USA. Alessandra currently uses performance enhancement at UNSW and Sydney University Swimming Club. In her spare time, Alessandra can usually be found in the EGA parking lot waiting for her daughter to come out of training.

 
Inna Merkin
Nutritionist, ">www.innamehealth.com**
Inna is a qualified nutritionist who is passionate about women’s health & children’s nutrition. Understanding the specific nutritional needs for girls in gymnastics is crucial to supporting their growth, performance, and overall well-being. Inna will guide us through the types of food girls’ bodies need as young gymnasts.
