Team members must wear their EGA Tracksuit and T-shirt + sneakers

NO UGG BOOTS when wearing EGA Uniform
Gymnasts are to remain in uniform as we are representing EGA at Country Capital Cup Competition.

KIDS event - Gymnasts can wear non EGA Uniform (Warm casual clothes)
Kids event. Its only catered for Level 5 and above as it finishes too late for the Level 3 & 4 Students.
I have purchased tickets for all Level 5 and above. We may have spare tickets for any students who are competing in Level 4 or who has a sibling in the higher levels.

On arrival to your competition, parents please try and sit all together so we can hear your wonderful cheers. Don’t forget to wear your gold and flash our EGA Signage! It’s also your time to SHINE!!! We have some adult size EGA on Tour 2023 supporter shirts available on merchandise page. Happy for you to wear previous years.

Gymnasts - please do not sit down in the grandstand on arrival or leave your bags and belongings with your parents. Gymnasts must always have all their belongings in an EGA Bag with them and not with the parents. If you need to purchase an EGA Backpack or EGA Duffle bag, please do so asap.

Gymnasts will meet coaches on the right-hand side of the grandstand facing floor. Parents can you please walk your child around the other side especially the gymnasts who have never been to this competition before.

COMPETITION ATTIRE: *
• EGA Competition Leotard
• EGA Tracksuit
• 2023 Tamworth T-shirt
• Gold Scrunchie
• Plain White socks for warm up (no steps no pictures no colours)
• Sneakers to be worn to and from Competition Venue

Gymnasts are to wear their Competition Tracksuit for the whole of warm up and Presentation.
Gymnasts will compete with Competition Leotard only.
Please ensure your child’s names are on all pieces of clothing.

• No Jewellery (stud earrings and sleepers are acceptable)
• No Charms on earrings
• No bracelets or anklets of any kind (only students with medical bracelets or necklaces can be worn)
• No Nail polish, makeup, or fake nails
• Hair in a tight Gelled high bun with Gold Scrunchie (no ribbon) no Flyways
• No coloured underwear/black high cut underwear only
• No bras to be showing at all (gymnasts will be deducted in score if they are showing their undergarments)

At EGA we take pride on how our girls look so please ensure you follow the above :)

Please attend the competition and cheer on our girls if you are in Tamworth.
Gymnasts/Clubs will receive awards on the day for the best cheers from the grandstands.
If you have time, we would like to see some EGA signs made by the gymnasts!
You can dress up as well tutus, feather bowers, gold hats etc.

ANOTHER IMPORTANT REMINDER
Due to the competition fencing around the competition floor parents can walk around and pretty much stand at the gate at the apparatus. This does however cause problems as parents will try and communicate with the girls on the floor.
At no point are parent allowed to communicate or speak with their child whilst on the competition floor. Please say your good lucks, hugs and kisses before they meet with their coaches.

The competition Marshalls will ask you to move from the fence and can cause a penalty to the team. Last year I was pulled aside to remind my parent of this. Please can we have a year where parents sit back and relax, cheer, and not gather around the fencing where the apparatus is. As it’s not fair on the gymnasts having you so close and may make them more nervous and distracted. The EGA Coaching staff will also ask you to move away if they feel you are being distracting. I know this is an exciting day for you but it’s also a more exciting day for the girls and who are probably nervous and wanting to do well.
We would really appreciate if you can keep a distance and not distract the gymnasts or call out coaching tips while they are in competition also keep in mind not all gymnasts like their name to be yelled during their performance. This can be awfully off-putting. This has caused tears! Our priority is the gymnasts and ensuring they have a great competition and listen to their coaches most importantly.

Lastly no flash photography to be used at any point inside the competition venue.
Sorry for the do’s and don’ts but we must do the right thing for the competition organisers and competitors.❤️

I won’t be at all competitions this year as I’ll be flying in on Saturday and flying out on Sunday late morning.
I will however be on the what’s app chat group to answer any questions. Our amazing staff will also assist if you need anything.

Please make sure your child remembers their Team name to assist with presentation at the end of the competition. You can find the team names on the Draft link previously sent, Event Calendar or the Team app competition times.

Please note the competition venue is heated
If the girls would like to bring a blanket on the floor, please make sure its black.

EGA GET TO GETHER
In the past I’ve organised the Get-to-gethers for the groups who have competed. This year I’m leaving it up to the parents to organise the Get-to-gethers amongst the gymnasts and parents.
Please no exclusions of other students/families. Anything you organise please post on the “EGA on Tour – CCC 2023” Whatsapp Group chat.
