Dear parents,

We would like to thank you all for your expression of interest for CCC 2023.

This year we have 53 Gymnasts and 10 Teams competing for Eastern Gymnastics Academy. Its our highest number yet we have taken to Tamworth. AMAZING!!

EGA has been involved with the competition since 2015 with many fond memories and great experiences for our gymnasts and families :)
Extra training and Team Photos will be organised for the students who will participating in the Country Capital Cup.

INFORMATION
9th – 11th June at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre
Individual & Team competition for Levels 3 – 10 & International

Draft Schedule:
We understand that it can be tricky to book accommodation when the schedule
is not confirmed. Tamworth are dealing with large numbers which they are trying to accommodate all.

Level 3-4 are confirmed they will be on Sunday again, and we will not
be running sessions on Monday at this stage (this could change if we have a
massive surge).

We expect Level 5 to be on Friday and Level 8-10 on Saturday again. The competition organisers are considering where Level 6 and Level 7 will go on Friday and/or Saturday. Hopefully confirmed schedule will be posted shortly.

Accommodation is filling up fast, however we may have parents who have double booked who may be able to release their accommodation to you.

Each Gymnast will receive a token Competition T-shirt with their names on it.
Please see the attachment and check all details are correct.
The team list is only a DRAFT We are looking at some of the gymnasts to move up a level but not yet confirmed or discussed with the gymnasts. Gymnasts moving up to the new level will be required to compete in the Level 3-7 EGA Competition. See Event Calendar below.

Training schedules may also change for some gymnasts for a few weeks as they will need to train in the correct level’s group/team leading up to CCC (Country Capital Cup)

If you have decided you will not be participating in the Tamworth Country Capital Cup, please contact me ASAP as tomorrow Ill be sending off all participants names to be printed.

TEAM PHOTOS
-Sunday 21st May 2023 (before Level 3-7 EGA Competition.
-All students who are participating in CCC must attend
-Level 8 gymnasts, please arrive for the photos.

Competition Attire
-Competition Leotard Level 3-4 Short Sleeve, Level 5-7 Long sleeve
-Hair in high bun with gold scrunch
-EGA Tracksuit
-CCC Shirts will be handed out on the day or before hand.
PLEASE DO NOT FORGET YOUR SHIRT FOR TEAM PHOTOS (only for gymnast who are competing at Country Capital Cup will receive their shirt and also take part in the Team photos**

As most of you know its absolutely freezing that time of year in Tamworth! I’ll hopefully have the EGA Puffer jacket for sale on the merchandise Jotform for purchase.
Gymnasts are not to wear mufti to the competition arena and are expected to be in EGA uniform Tracksuit and shirt whilst their stay at Tamworth during competition days. This includes Land and air travel.

Due dates Summary: 1. Expression of interest due: Thursday 23rd March
2. Draft of Gymnast level/Team: Monday 27th March (Subject to change)
3. Entry Fee due: Monday 17th April
4. Final list of Gymnast Level/Team posted: Wednesday 19th April 2023
Teams Consist of 3-6 Gymnast per TEAM
